Bot Defense FAQ

The Bot Defense use some hidden forms to catch any submission bots, the code is written in css, php and html ensuring efficiency. The normal user can't see this forms. When a bot alter the values of any of this field is redirected to thankyou.php page where the ip is recorded. Also the counter will increase it's value so that you'll know when a bot has been trapped. To find the ip of the blocked bot simply view botdefense/count_ip.txt file.The files count_ip.txt and count_file.txt must have the permission set to 766 in order to be modified by the Bot Defense.
